AMOR Healing Kitchen is celebrating seven years of nourishing the Charleston community with locally-sourced, plant-based meals and kicking off the AMOR 21-Day Challenge in honor of its birthday. This campaign enables everyone to embrace AMOR's values of health, sustainability and community and culminates with a special event to support gut health.
On February 22, AMOR is hosting a conversation with Dr. Will Bulseiwicz, The New York Times bestseller author of Fiber Fueled, which promotes a plant-based diet to improve gut health and overall well-being at the Circular Congregational Church (150 Meeting St.) in Charleston.
“This milestone is a celebration of our community and the incredible impact we’ve achieved together,” said Maria Kelly, Founder and Executive Director of AMOR Healing Kitchen. “This year marks another year of growth. We are serving 100+ clients a week, attracting more volunteers and teens than ever before and have expanded our Grab and Grow program. We’re excited to welcome everyone to join in this challenge, have fun, and make a difference for our clients, 80% of which qualify to receive our program free of cost.”
