In the spirit of liberté, égalité, fraternité, 39 Rue de Jean today announced its Bastille Day celebration, “Vive la Rue,” on Monday, July 14 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Guests are invited to enjoy a vibrant evening honoring French culture, cuisine, and community.
The event will feature free admission, live music from Purple Magnolia on Hutson Alley, and a festive lineup of French-inspired small plates, including: Classic Bouillabaisse, Cheese Plates featuring imported French selections, Duck Rillette Croquettes, plus more bistro favorites.
Guests can also enjoy a complimentary mussel station, available while supplies last.
Adding to the joie de vivre, Charleston’s Smallest Bar will be re-imagined for the evening as Petite Brass, offering curated French wines, cocktails, and beer in an intimate setting.
Leading up to Bastille Day, guests can enjoy French-inspired food and drink specials all weekend long, available Friday through Sunday.
