The Wandering Golf Writer: Tom Coyne
When the adventure began, the bag on his back had a binder with maps, 103 room reservations and over 40 tee times. By the end of the trip he had hit 4,531 shots, lost 129 balls, visited 196 pubs and had the makings of a New York Times bestseller which, it did become, and still is, and has even become something of a bible for American golfers planning trips to Ireland. Since 2007, Tom Coyne, Sr. Editor and Podcast host for Golfer’s Journal followed the success of A Course called Ireland with A Course Called Scotland and A Course Called America, each met with similar acclaim. Ahead of his next book due out 2025, we’re pleased to collaborate with Kiawah Partners in hosting Tom Coyne for his first appearance in Charleston.
