In this sabbatical talk, Prof. Kris De Welde will describe the interdisciplinary research and applied sociological activities in which she engaged during her 2023-24 sabbatical. Specifically, she will share achievements from her work on faculty equity in higher education with a focus on organizational change and feminist leadership, equity in STEM fields, and liberatory pedagogies. She will discuss how her efforts draw from frameworks and principles that have become “unmentionable.”
