In partnership with the Friends of the Hunley and the Warren Lasch Conservation Center, we invite you to journey with us to the bottom of the ocean and discover exciting new findings from the H.L. Hunley submarine. Never before on display, recently conserved textile remnants and personal objects can provide insight into the lives of the crew before they met their untimely end. Combining extensive scientific study with unique historical context, this exhibition will present fresh perspectives on this maritime mystery.
