Southern Speakeasy
Garden & Gun and Louisville Tourism are hosting a Southern Speakeasy where guests will be transported to the glitz and glam of the 1920s with prohibition-era supper and cocktails.
The best of Derby City’s classic dishes will be served — prepared with a modern twist by acclaimed Lousiville chef Andrew McCabe of bar Vetti. Bourbon cocktails from Angel’s Envy Distillery will be flowing throughout the evening before a finale spirits tasting. Live jazz-era music will fill the room throughout the night, and guests are encouraged to dress for the era with their best flapper dresses, tweed suits and festive attire.
The event will take place at 6 pm on Thursday, March 7 at the magazine’s historic Cigar Factory headquarters in downtown Charleston: 701 East Bay Street, No. 115
