Artist Statement:

We are souls trapped in our human form. Can we judge upon our souls? It is like my paintings, if you look at my paintings at the surface they look colorful but if you look deeper you will see their stories.

Artist Bio

Despite my physical challenges, all of my life, art took a big part. When I was younger, I was painting on an HP computer and using the paint program, and I was getting pretty good at it, but I stopped beacuse anyone could copy them. When I was 12 in 2011, I asked my mom if we had canvases, and she said, “Let me look,” and we had two canvases. My mom asked me, “How are you planning to paint?” I gestured with my feet, and she put the canvas by my feet. I told her what colors I was painting, and I am painting ever since. I developed more styles of painting beacuse of this show, asking for help to bring my visions to the canvas and using my whole human form.
