Charleston Crafts Gallery, a local fine craft cooperative showcasing the work of South Carolina artists, is proud to announce its January feature exhibition, “New Beginnings.” This special month-long showcase highlights the talented new artists who have joined the gallery over the past year. The exhibit opens with a reception on January 9th from 5–8pm, where guests can meet the artists, explore their work, and celebrate the start of an exciting year ahead.
“New Beginnings” celebrates fresh perspectives, innovative techniques, and the diverse creative voices that continue to shape South Carolina’s vibrant fine craft community. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of handcrafted works, including ceramics, soap making, and wood, all created by newly inducted member artists.
As a cooperative, Charleston Crafts Gallery is dedicated to supporting local artisans and providing a welcoming space where the public can connect directly with the makers behind the work. The January exhibition reflects the gallery’s ongoing commitment to growth, collaboration, and artistic excellence.
“This exhibition represents both a new year and an exciting new chapter for our gallery,” said Marty Biernbaum, Membership Manager. “We are thrilled to introduce these artists to our community and share the creativity they bring to our cooperative.”
“New Beginnings” will be on display throughout January during regular gallery hours. The public is invited to visit, meet the artists, and discover one-of-a-kind fine crafts made right here in South Carolina.
Charleston Crafts Gallery is located at 14o East Bay Street, in the heart of Charleston. For more information, please visit www.charlestoncraftsgallery.com.
