Ladybird Books (299 King St.) is thrilled to host Lucie Franc de Ferriere, owner and head baker at NYC’s From Lucie, in conversation with Hannah Welton of Welton’s Tiny Bakeshop on Wednesday, May 6, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. The discussion will be moderated by Courtney Zentner, owner of Merci and The Drifter. The event will celebrate community, conversation and the craft of baking. Guests will receive a copy of Franc de Ferriere’s debut book, “Cake From Lucie,” and enjoy a sampling of her cakes.
