Gadsden Green Community Summit (Day 2)

Friends of Gadsden Creek is pleased to announce a two-day Community Summit aimed at amplifying the needs and voices of Gadsden Green residents. The summit will take place this Saturday, February 17th, and Sunday, February 18th, 2024, in the Gadsden Green neighborhood.
Day 1 Highlights (Saturday, February 17th):
Time: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Venue: Burke High School Auditorium (North entrance on Sumter Street)
Program: Panel discussions focusing on crucial topics such as Housing Justice, Activism, Environmental Justice, and more. The discussions will provide a platform for community leaders and attendees to share their experiences, insights, and concerns regarding these critical issues.
Panelists: Friends of Gadsden Creek, Gadsden Green Residents, Charleston Black Lives Matter, SC Legal Services, SC Housing Justice Network, Charleston Activist Network, Community First Land Trust, Charleston Community Research to Action Board.
Day 2 Highlights (Sunday, February 18th):
Time: 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Location: Line Street, Gadsden Green Neighborhood
Program: A community celebration and mutual aid event featuring various activities, entertainment, and opportunities for residents to connect with local resources. This day will be dedicated to fostering a sense of community and solidarity among Gadsden Green residents.
