Dialogues: Independent and Intertwined
New Muse Concerts continues its fifth season on March 30th with Dialogues: Independent and Intertwined, a unique duo program for cello and double bass all about conversation.
"We're so excited to present Claire Marie Solomon, cello, and Mary Reed, double bass, in this unusual program," says New Muse Concerts' Artistic Director Lydia Chernicoff, "the cello and bass will speak as intertwined voices, conversing and telling a story through music. You'll hear music by Johann Pachelbel, Libby Larsen, and Edgar Meyer, among others, and the owners of The Space and photographers, Caroline Knopf and Mark Stetler will be curating a group salon-style exhibition of local artists in connection with the program. "
