On Sunday, October 25, 2026, the Charleston Area Out of the Darkness Walk returns to Gahagan Park in Summerville. Beginning at 12:30 p.m., families, friends, survivors, advocates, and supporters will gather to walk, remember, educate, and inspire hope.
Enjoy supporter tables, giveaways, resources for mental health and suicide prevention, a silent auction, adoptable pets, local team mascots, and hear from our inspiring keynote speaker, Tessa Spencer of WCIV | ABC News 4.
The walk is approximately one mile on a paved path, family-friendly, and leashed pets are welcome.
