ALONE… Tales from Edgar Allan Poe returns to the Lowcountry for a limited Halloween-season engagement at Old Trolley Theatre.
Daniel Hall Kuhn’s acclaimed multimedia solo performance brings Poe’s narrators and characters—not Poe himself—to life through acting, projected environments, sound, lighting and atmospheric effects. The 55-minute program includes “The Tell-Tale Heart,” “The Raven,” “Annabel Lee,” “A Dream Within a Dream,” “The Bells” and “Alone.”
Presented at Charleston’s 2024 Piccolo Spoleto Festival and most recently at Theatre Project/Baltimore, ALONE offers an intimate theatrical journey into Poe’s literary world.
Performances are October 22 and 23 at 8 p.m.; October 24 at 3 and 8 p.m.; and October 25 at 3 p.m. Recommended for ages 13 and older.
