Over 6 Wednesday mornings at the Isle of Palms Recreation Center, students will learn the fundamentals of drawing including the ability to see related abstract shapes, use sighting tools to take measurements, perspective, how to fill the page, and finally how to see related value shapes in a scene. Students will learn how this applies to painting across media. This is an adult beginners drawing class.

Instructor Giselle Harrington is a working artist who studied painting and drawing at the Art Students League of New York and the School of Visual Arts in New York, where she got her MFA. Her work can be seen at Simpatico Gallery in downtown Charleston.
