GZA, a rapper and founding member of the Wu-Tang Clan, will perform with the Phunky Nomads Band at Building 64 in North Charleston on Friday, Jan. 9, at 8 p.m. The show is part of his Liquid Swords 30th Anniversary Tour.
“Liquid Swords,” GZA’s second solo album, was released Nov. 7, 1995, and later went platinum.
The North Charleston show is open to all ages, though minors must be accompanied by an adult. Building 64 (2301 Noisette Blvd.) is a 38,000-square-foot event space in a historic building on the Navy Yard Charleston campus.
