MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - WonderWorks Myrtle Beach is known for being a great place for keeping the learning going after the school bell rings. The attraction works closely with educators all year, providing a place where students can explore, learn and be engaged. This month, they are hosting their annual Teacher Appreciation Days from May 1-31, 2025, giving teachers and support staff free admission and adding a half-off discount for their guests.
“Teacher Appreciation Days are back!” said Kaitlin Barnes, education sales manager at WonderWorks Myrtle Beach. “Our team is ready to welcome local educators and their loved ones into our upside-down laboratory. We’re a popular field trip destination during the school year, so now’s the perfect time for teachers to let loose and see what all the fuss is about. We appreciate all you do!”
WonderWorks loves to celebrate all that teachers do to help shape young minds. Their celebration of educators coincides with the National Teacher Appreciation Week, held May 5-9, 2025, and National Teachers’ Day on May 6, 2025. During the entire month of May 2025, teachers and school support staff from North Carolina and South Carolina can get a free All Access admission ticket, plus up to half off for four guests visiting with them.
To qualify for the Teacher Appreciation Days ticket promotion, educators must first register online. Once they do, they will receive an email voucher to print and present at the box office, along with a valid school ID or recent pay stub. This event gives teachers and support staff the chance to explore all that the upside-down house has to offer in celebration of the end of the school year. Education and entertainment go hand in hand at this indoor amusement park for the mind!
With summer vacation right around the corner, WonderWorks is slated to be a top stop for seasonal fun. Those wrapping up the school year and making summer plans should keep it in mind as a unique educational destination, providing kids with hands-on learning experiences on topics they learn about in school. WonderWorks helps keep the learning going all summer, thus minimizing the dreaded “summer slide.” With the Soar + Explore Ropes Course and Zipline open for the season, kids and adults alike will also be challenged as they conquer their fears while taking in breathtaking sights from the three-story outdoor adventure. Soar + Explore is open daily, weather permitting, and requires proper dress and close toed shoes.
“Summer will be here before we know it, so be sure to start planning some visits to WonderWorks! We’ve got both indoor and outdoor adventures that will spark the imagination and keep families active,” said Robert Stinnett, general manager at WonderWorks Myrtle Beach.
Those looking to save on admission tickets should keep an eye on the WonderWorks social media pages and visit the website to join their email list.
