ALPHARETTA, GA – The Wire & Wood Songwriters Festival's signature Listening Room event returns with an unforgettable lineup featuring three acclaimed, award-winning songwriters. David Lowery, David Ryan Harris, and Angie Aparo will share the stage for an intimate songwriters-in-the-round performance on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 3 p.m. at Roaring Social in downtown Alpharetta.
As the festival’s only ticketed event, the Listening Room gives music fans a rare behind-the-scenes experience. Lowery, Harris, and Aparo will trade songs, share the inspiration behind their writing and tell stories from their careers. Tickets and capacity are limited to ensure an up-close, personal experience, making this one of the festival’s most sought-after performances.

About the Artists
David Lowery has spent more than four decades as one of alternative rock's most influential songwriters. As the founder of Camper Van Beethoven and later Cracker, Lowery helped define independent and alternative rock with hits including "Low," "Euro-Trash Girl," and "Teen Angst (What the World Needs Now)." Beyond his work as a performer and producer, Lowery is widely recognized as a leading advocate for artists' rights and fair compensation in the evolving music industry.
Joining him is acclaimed singer-songwriter, producer, and guitarist David Ryan Harris, whose career spans rock, soul, R&B and pop. After emerging as the frontman of Atlanta's Follow For Now, Harris became one of the industry's most respected collaborators, writing, producing and performing alongside artists including John Mayer, Dave Matthews, Santana, Alicia Keys, Mariah Carey, India.Arie, Hootie & the Blowfish, Nelly, Zayn and Dionne Farris. His soulful performances and exceptional musicianship have earned him a devoted following among fans and fellow artists alike.
Completing the trio is award-winning singer-songwriter Angie Aparo, whose emotionally rich songwriting has resonated with audiences for decades. Best known for writing "Cry," the Grammy-nominated international hit recorded by Faith Hill, Aparo has released several acclaimed solo albums while building a reputation as one of Nashville's most respected songwriters. His powerful storytelling and distinctive voice make him a natural fit for the Listening Room experience.
The Listening Room is part of the 13th Annual Wire & Wood Songwriters Festival, taking place October 9–10, 2026, in downtown Alpharetta. The free, two-day festival welcomes more than 20,000 music fans each year for more than 30 performances across six outdoor stages. This year's festival will be headlined by Corey Smith on Friday night and Sister Hazel on Saturday night.
