Indie rock band Wilco will perform at Firefly Distillery on Friday, July 10, at 7 p.m. Fans can enjoy two full sets with one intermission for a night dedicated entirely to the group’s signature sound.
Singer-songwriter Jeff Tweedy formed the group in 1994 in Chicago. Known for blending rock, folk, country and experimental sounds, Wilco has become one of the most influential indie rock bands of the past three decades. The group gained widespread acclaim with albums such as Yankee Hotel Foxtrot (2002) and A Ghost Is Born (2004), both praised for their inventive songwriting and sonic experimentation.
