WaterFest is back on Nov. 15 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., bringing a full afternoon of family fun to The Waterfront on Daniel Island. This annual community celebration invites guests to enjoy live music, local food and drinks, and scenic views along the Wando River.
Families can look forward to kid-friendly activities including face painting, arts and crafts, and interactive nature exhibits. Scenic boat cruises aboard the Daniel Island Ferry will also be offered throughout the afternoon.
A portion of event proceeds will benefit Charleston Waterkeeper, a local nonprofit dedicated to protecting and restoring the region’s waterways. The Waterfront community will also host a raffle table with prizes from local businesses, with all raffle ticket sales benefiting Charleston Waterkeeper.
Advance registration is recommended, as this event typically sells out. Children age 2 and younger are admitted free.
Each ticket includes:
- Oyster roast, chili bar and drinks from Swig & Swine
- Live music by Dallas Baker & Friends
- Game Day Corner with live football streaming throughout the event
- Kids art station from Wee Little Arts
- Interactive reptile station with the South Carolina Aquarium
- Face painting by Peachy Palette
- Photobooth with Mermaid Elise and Pirate Rob
- Boat cruises aboard the Daniel Island Ferry (two cruises offered at 1:45 and 2:30 p.m.; sign-ups are first come, first served)
The event will be held at Waterfront Park, 101 River Landing Drive.
