Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum, home of the historic USS Yorktown and USS Laffey, announced ticket sales for the annual Patriots Point 4th of July Fireworks Blast. A limited number of tickets are now available through Eventbrite and are expected to sell out quickly.
Tickets are $95 and include access to the WWII aircraft carrier starting at 7 p.m. In addition to unmatched Harbor views before the fireworks, guests will enjoy live music from local bands: Keith’s Dead, Majors Family, and Trae Pierce & the T-Stones.
"We’re thrilled to once again bring our community together for this annual 4th of July Fireworks Blast,” said Patriots Point Executive Director Allison Hunt. “This event is a celebration of our nation’s independence and the unity and pride that define our community. We look forward to a night of family fun, music, and fireworks on the Charleston Harbor.”
From classic cookout to food truck favorites, vendors such as Fed Up, Holy City Popcorn, J.A.R. Chili Dogs, Nino’s Creamery, and Lowcountry Taps will be offering summertime food and drink selections for purchase. Coolers and outside food are not permitted. Guests are encouraged to bring folding chairs.
Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum will close early at 3:00 p.m., with the last ticket sold at 2:00 p.m. Only event ticket holders will be allowed to keep their vehicles parked in the lot after this time.
The Fireworks Blast is a ticketed event aboard the USS Yorktown and will take place rain or shine. Tickets are required for everyone two years old and up. For more information, visit patriotspoint.org for more information about the museum and upcoming events.
