The Charleston Parks Conservancy, the nonprofit steward of 26 of the city’s parks, gardens and trails, invites guests to step into a world of playful mischief at the 15th annual Party for the Parks on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025, at historic Colonial Lake (Ashley Avenue, Charleston) from 6 to 10 p.m.
This year’s theme, inspired by the curious world of Wonderland, will transform the park into a whimsical escape filled with immersive décor, live entertainment and creative surprises—all in support of the Conservancy’s work in Charleston’s beloved public parks. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, at charlestonparksconservancy.
By attending Party for the Parks, guests help make possible more than 200 hours of free community programming each year, including favorites such as the Teddy Bear Picnic, Music in the Parks and Bird Walks, while supporting year-round care of Charleston’s public spaces.
“Party for the Parks isn’t just a party—it’s a celebration of everything our community loves about Charleston’s green spaces,” said Emily Topham, director of development and marketing at the Conservancy. “Every ticket, auction item, sponsorship and raffle ticket purchased helps fuel the Conservancy’s mission to keep Charleston’s parks vibrant, flourishing and accessible for all.”
General admission tickets are $185 and include all-inclusive food tastings from 20 local restaurants, an open bar and an evening of dancing and entertainment. VIP tickets are $300 and include access to the Accountally VIP tent with private lounges, premium bars and food offerings, VIP-only restrooms, and complimentary hair and makeup touch-ups to complete Wonderland-inspired looks.
Guests can also support the Conservancy through the Raffle for the Parks, featuring a Moke—a fully electric, street-legal cruiser perfect for Lowcountry living—as well as through a silent auction. Auction items include a Galápagos expedition with National Geographic–Lindblad Expeditions, a six-hour luxury yacht cruise with Barton & Gray Mariners Club, a Coastal Cruising Carts LSV golf cart, local staycations, sailing adventures and food and drink experiences from Charleston’s top restaurants.
“This event is such a fun and creative way to support a cause that matters,” said Rebecca Ramsay, 2025 Party for the Parks co-chair. “Every year, the costumes do not disappoint, and with this year’s Wonderland theme, we know guests will bring their most imaginative, whimsical looks. The ‘Down the Rabbit Hole’ theme creates a playful vibe that sparks people’s creativity. It’s one of those nights where everyone’s smiling, dancing and having a great time—and it’s all for the Charleston community.”
