The Wallflowers will bring their Bringing Down the Horse 30th anniversary tour to The Windjammer on Aug. 6, 2026. In addition to a full performance of the album, the band will also play one of their favorite records, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers’ Long After Dark, cover to cover.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 20.
Bringing Down the Horse was a major commercial success in 1997, driven by hit singles including “6th Avenue Heartache,” “One Headlight” and “The Difference.” In early 1998, “One Headlight” won Grammy Awards for best rock song and best rock performance by a duo or group with vocal.
The band is fronted by vocalist, songwriter and guitarist Jakob Dylan. Born in 1970, Dylan decided to follow in his father Bob Dylan’s footsteps in the late 1980s. He formed The Wallflowers with guitarist Tobi Miller, keyboardist Rami Jaffee, bassist Barrie Maguire and drummer Peter Yanowitz, and the group later signed with Virgin Records.
