This season, The Ansonborough is hosting a series of interactive workshops and crafting classes on its Rooftop Garden overlooking the Cooper River. Leaning into the wave of hobby-hunting trends and spotlighting Charleston-based makers and creatives, the event series, “Hobbies at the Hotel,” invites participants to explore new creative pursuits.
Workshops will include activities such as Mahjong, needlepoint, textile design, watercolor and more. The series kicked off on Friday, Sept. 18, with a needlepoint workshop from Gimme Design Studios and a Pilates class led by Halle Jane, and runs through Saturday, Nov. 14.
