The Daniel Island Rotary Club will host their Annual Charity Duck Race at Daniel Island's Waterfront Park on June 14, 2025. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Charleston community members are encouraged to “adopt” ducks – at $10 each – to help raise funds for charity. The owner of the winning duck has the opportunity to win $10,000.
The race is the biggest annual fundraising event for the Rotary with funds going to local and global charities. This year’s recipients include East Cooper Community Outreach, Water Mission, WarriorWOD, Lowcountry Orphan Relief, the Philip Simmons Middle School PTA, and many other charities that are supporting everything from food insecurity to youth development and education.
The race has raised over $2.5 million for local charities over 16 years.
