Redux Contemporary Art Center will present "Creative Corridors: Together," a group exhibition and institutional tradition. The exhibit presents an opportunity for Redux resident artists to showcase a sample of their work in relation to a theme.
For 2025 the studio artist selected the theme of “together” to highlight the collaborative nature and spirit of the beloved art community. Participating artists in Creative Corridors include: Susan Altman, Nancy Perry, Rebecca Dew, Nick Kawczynski, Joe Ridenour, Hale Horstman, Carson Carroll, Taylor Faulkner, Christine Patterson, Lauren Ridenour, Anna Chen, Liz Lantz, Sam Bannon, Melissa Callaway, Jenifer Padilla, Madison Kingery (Mad Made Metals), Kristen Mein (Kaypea Jewelry), Katie Libby, George Read, Kirsten Hoving, Adoni Designs, Susan Vitali, J. Kevin Foltz, Cindy Jesup, Alice Colin, KELA, Chancy Cannon, Katie Brash, Marsha McDonald, Christian Lucena, Jeanette Louise Duncan, Elise Moore and Anne Abueva.
The public is invited to the opening reception on Friday, May 30 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 1056 King Street. The exhibition will be on view until August 9, 2025.
Also opening on May 30 is "Light Changes Everything," a solo exhibition of two innovative photographic series by Redux Studio Artist Christine Patterson. Patterson showcases her infrared hand tinted photographs and her digital & resin board photo collages. Additionally, Lightning Residents Nysa Hicks-Puig & Maggie Pennington showcase new work created in their joint six-week residency.
