Studio Union will present Studio (re)Union, a group exhibition and art market celebrating the strength and continuity of Charleston’s working artist community.
Co-curated by Studio Union founder Susan Gregory and former Studio Union artist Elizabeth Northcut Williams, now based at Noble Studios, the show features 25 artists working across ceramics, textiles, wax, stone, oils, acrylics and sculpture.
The exhibition opens Friday, Nov. 7, from 6 to 9 p.m., with refreshments and live music from The Soul Preservation Society of Charleston, and continues Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Noble Studios in the North Charleston Navy Yard. An accompanying art market will feature nine additional artists offering work for sale throughout the weekend.
“This show is an inspiring look at the incredible talent that has come through Studio Union and continues to grow from it,” said Williams. “Presenting this work at Noble Studios, my current studio space, is a reminder of how vital spaces like this are to Charleston’s creative community.”
This marks Studio Union’s first collective exhibition since 2022 at Redux Contemporary Art Center. Studio (re)Union underscores Charleston’s interconnected network of artist-run studios — spaces that sustain creativity, mentorship and community across the region’s evolving art scene.
The event is free and open to the public. Free parking will be available at the Navy Yard Industrial Campus gravel lot at 1210 Truxtun Ave. Noble Studios is located on the ground floor and is accessible, with additional assistance available upon request.
