Join us for the 20th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Block Party & Parade, the biggest St. Patrick’s Day celebration in the Lowcountry, on Saturday, March 9, 2024! The celebration will feature live music, street vending and fare from Olde North Charleston restaurants, a Kid’s Zone, and more. The party, parade and parking are free to the public. This event is presented by the Park Circle Business Collective with support from the City of North Charleston.

Go for the Pot o' GOLD! The Catch the Leprechaun 5K is a 3.1 mile race for walkers, joggers, competitive and non-competitive runners and stroller pushers (no bikes or dogs please). We encourage everyone to dress in their best Irish/Green outfit. Prizes are awarded to top runners, age groupers and best Irish costume!

There is an array of exciting events taking place in the Lowcountry in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day each year, with the family-friendly parade beginning downtown at 10 a.m. This is the largest St. Paddy’s Day parade in the state, featuring fire trucks, military vehicles, marching bands, dancers, and Charleston’s very own Irish step dancers.
