South of Broadway Theatre Company has announced its 2026-2027 season, featuring acclaimed dramas, youth productions, innovative new works and the debut of its first Resident Acting Ensemble.
The company also introduced MAD SOB (Marigold Arts Development, dba South of Broadway), a new artistic initiative dedicated to producing bold, adventurous and community-driven theatrical experiences.
The inaugural Resident Acting Ensemble includes:

2026-2027 Season
Voices from the Front Lines of Now
A MAD SOB Production
Real stories from the community — heartwarming, provocative, hilarious, moving and occasionally a little raunchy. This original production gives voice to the people and experiences shaping our world today.

Bauer
The remarkable true story of German visual artist Rudolf Bauer, whose groundbreaking abstract artwork inspired the creation of New York City's Guggenheim Museum.

Into the Woods Jr.
Stephen Sondheim's beloved musical comes to life in this enchanting Youth Theatre production.

It's a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play
Celebrate the holidays with this charming adaptation of the Jimmy Stewart Christmas classic, presented as a nostalgic 1940s live radio broadcast.

This powerful contemporary musical follows students at a Catholic boarding school as they grapple with love, identity, faith, family expectations and the courage to live authentically.
