As the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition (SEWE) returns to Charleston next week, M. Dumas and Sons is once again at the center of the festivities with a full weekend of SEWE activations, including an exclusive Brackish collaboration, the return of Puppies in the Window and multiple in-store and off-site activations.
Brackish x Dumas - Feb. 11
The SEWE festivities begin at Dumas (294 King St.) on Wednesday, Feb. 11, with a Brackish custom experience available from 2 to 7 p.m. Shoppers can be the first to view the SEWE limited-edition Chelsea Handbag, exclusively created by Brackish for Dumas.
From 2 to 4 p.m., customers can enjoy complimentary bow tie box engraving, followed by a custom pin wrap experience from 4 to 7 p.m., where Brackish team members will offer on-site thread changes using a curated selection of pins and thread colors, all set to live music from The Bluestone Ramblers from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and light bites throughout the afternoon.
Puppies in the Window - Feb. 13-15
A longtime SEWE tradition, Puppies in the Window returns to M. Dumas and Sons from Feb. 13-15 in partnership with Charleston Animal Society. Adoptable puppies will fill the store’s King Street windows, with in-store adoptions available daily from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In-Store Trunk Shows and Tastings - Feb. 13-14
Throughout SEWE weekend, Dumas will host in-store activations on Feb. 13-14, including a Filson trunk show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. both Friday and Saturday, a Duck Head trunk show with a gift with purchase and Blade & Bow bourbon tasting in partnership with J. Earl & Sons, available from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.
Brittlebank Park - Feb. 13-15
Beyond their King Street storefront, Dumas will also have a presence at Brittlebank Park during the SEWE weekend, featuring styles from Barbour, Duck Head and Madison Creek.
