Back for its second year, Charleston’s favorite comedy/variety show Rip City CHS takes over the Terrace Theatre to bring you Rip City at the Movies, a night of short films, sketches, animations, and music videos from (mostly) local filmmakers and artists.
Rip City at the Movies could be described as something between a premiere and a festival. All of these works are being shown for the first time in a one hour block. There are no live performance elements for this show as it’s all filmed material. Everything weaves together through the animations of Opus Thimble.
Featured artists will include Babe Club, Nameless Numberhead, Hot Mustard ft. Opus Thimble, Jeremy Croft, Horse Content, and many others. It will also feature work from former Charleston-based creatives like Mr. Bonetagles, Will Schutz.
Last year this show sold out so if you’re interested, definitely grab your tickets ahead of time. Tickets are on sale now and are $18 in advance and $20 at the door.

Rip City CHS is an experimental comedy/variety show that features original sketches, characters, music, performance art, and anything else in between. It's basically SNL of the South. The works are being performed for the first time for a live audience and the rotating cast keeps the show different every month. Rip City CHS is curated & produced by Nameless Numberhead (Henry Riggs & Maari Suorsa).
