Park Circle Pride, one of the most diverse and eclectic LGBTQ+ pride festivals in the South, returns for its highly anticipated 5th year from June 3–8, 2025 in the Park Circle neighborhood of North Charleston.
This year’s festival will feature more than 40 events over six vibrant days at bars, restaurants, breweries, and other venues throughout the neighborhood. Programming ranges from drag shows, trivia, queer prom, book fairs, movie screenings, brunches, comedy, karaoke, workshops, poetry readings, panels, pool parties, and family-friendly events, offering something for every member of the community. The majority of the events are free to attend, there will also be some ticketed events.
The 2025 Park Circle Pride Poster, commemorating the festival’s fifth anniversary, features artwork by Alexander Griffin of Gumbo Design Co. The design powerfully reimagines the iconic 1945 photograph "Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima", replacing soldiers with LGBTQIA+ individuals united in strength and community as they raise the Pride flag—symbolizing a collective that will not be silenced or suppressed.
Proceeds from Park Circle Pride 2025 will benefit two local nonprofit organizations AFFA (Alliance for Full Acceptance), dedicated to advancing advocacy efforts in South Carolina and We Are Family, dedicated to supporting LGBTQ+ youth.
