This summer, Palma Day Club, a limited seasonal event series aiming to “bring the lively atmosphere of summer in the Hamptons to the peninsula at 1705 Meeting Street Road,” will make its debut.
Palma Day Club Charleston is the brainchild of Project 92, the marketing arm of New York-based Project 91, founded by Todd Mackall and Ryan Williams, alongside Eric Gussin of Take Me There Hospitality, the team behind downtown venues Trio Nightclub and Groovers. The groups have joined forces to present a summer series of international entertainment paired with “elevated poolside service.”
“The idea for Palma Day Club first took shape in Montauk last summer at Montauk Beach House,” said Project 92 co-founder Ryan Williams. “We saw a natural connection between the surf-town energy of Montauk and Charleston’s coastal culture, and it quickly became clear that Charleston was the perfect place to bring the next concept to life.”
Palma Day Club will debut May 23 with a kickoff set from BLOND:ISH, whose performances span major festivals including Tomorrowland, Coachella and Ultra Music Festival. Throughout the season, internationally acclaimed DJs, including Nora En Pure, Acraze and Loud Luxury, will take over the poolside stage.
General admission tickets will range from $30 to $100 throughout the season. For a more exclusive experience, guests can reserve private cabanas with dedicated VIP hosts and a concierge team.
Day passes and cabana bookings will also be available for non-event days (Fridays and Sundays) throughout the season and can be booked here.
“Palma Day Club was created to bring a new kind of daytime energy to Charleston,” said Project 92 co-founder Todd Mackall. “It’s about great music, great food and a vibrant social atmosphere where guests can spend the afternoon poolside, enjoying the kind of experience you’d normally travel to Miami or Tulum to find.”
Guests can enjoy a menu from CHS Wagyu featuring Sir Wiener’s popular hot dogs and a signature Wagyu smash burger, alongside lighter fare, including mezze spreads with hummus, labneh, pita and fresh vegetables, as well as tuna poke nachos topped with guacamole, chipotle aioli and sesame soy sauce. Throughout the summer, guests can also enjoy a rotating lineup of food and shopping vendor pop-ups.
