The North Charleston POPS! is kicking off the holidays with Sounds of the Season, its much-loved annual Holiday Pops! concert, on Saturday, Dec. 20 at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center.
This festive program celebrates the joy, nostalgia, and magic of the holidays with classic carols, beloved seasonal favorites, and sparkling musical moments that highlight the heartwarming spirit of the season. Under the direction of Maestro Nick Palmer, the POPS! orchestra will once again bring audiences together for an evening that has become a cherished community tradition.
This year’s concert features two of Charleston’s most beloved vocalists—Emily Curtis and Brandon John Waller - whose rich artistry and heartfelt performances promise to make the night even more memorable. Their dynamic presence and exceptional talent will add warmth, energy, and a special Lowcountry charm to the stage.
Before the performance begins, guests can enjoy a festive lobby experience designed to spark holiday cheer from the moment they arrive. The celebration includes the always-popular Tuba Christmas, a Photo Booth with Santa, and live musical entertainment throughout the lobby—perfect for families, date night, or anyone looking to make the evening extra special.
