North Myrtle Beach is adding a new tradition to its beloved Main Street this fall. On September 26, the destination will launch the inaugural NMB Live!, a free festival featuring three stages of live music, local food, artists and makers, and more than 150 vendors.
Taking place during the Society of Stranders (SOS) Fall Migration (September 18–27), NMB Live! gives visitors another reason to experience the birthplace of The Shag, where ten days of dancing, live music and celebrations unfold across the destination's legendary shag clubs.
Further event details:
- Live entertainment will include Yacht Rock Radio featuring American Idol alum Carsen Webb, Whiskey Run, Tokyo Joe, Spare Change, Trae Pierce & The T-Stones, and a Tom Petty tribute by The Best of Everything.
- Festivalgoers can also catch performances by local dance teams, live speed-art demonstrations, Polynesian fire performers and dancers, and plein air artists creating artwork throughout the day.
- A dedicated Kids Zone will offer rides, games, Bubble Fairies and hourly juggling shows.
- Interactive contests, including the Air Guitar Challenge and Dad Dance-Off, will invite festivalgoers to join the action.
- Food trucks and participating Main Street restaurants and bars will serve food and drinks throughout the day.
