New Muse Concerts will present Lydia Chernicoff, Jessica Tong, Dan Urbanowicz, and Danielle Cho in "Flow: Cycles in Music, Water and Nature," a program of string quartets offered as part of a new partnership with the South Carolina Aquarium on Sunday, August 18th at 7 pm.
On the program is String Quartet #4 by living composer Libby Larsen — a work that explores water in its many forms — as well as Claude Debussy's lush string quartet from 1893, a gorgeous cornerstone of the quartet repertoire. The musicians will set up in front of the Great Ocean Tank where listeners can lose themselves in sound and the mesmerizing life of the sea.
