On Thursday, March 27, 843 Hub and Blue Steel Productions will host Match Made, a dating experience for singles ages 30 to 45 at The Peacock. The event aims to move beyond traditional mixers by using a "structured, compatibility-based approach to meeting new people."
The experience is powered by Matchbox, a relationship science-based matching system that has connected more than 500,000 people nationwide through its work with the Marriage Pact at more than 100 universities.
Before or upon arrival, guests complete a short questionnaire developed by psychologists. Throughout the evening, attendees receive up to three curated matches based on compatibility, using a combination of relationship science, artificial intelligence and Nobel Prize-winning economic theory.
Matches are revealed in stages during the event, creating an interactive experience designed to encourage meaningful connections.
The event runs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Peacock is located at 213 E Bay Street.
