Motley Rice LLC, in collaboration with Lowcountry Make-A-Wish, is hosting “Walking in a Wish Wonderland,” a private holiday festival to celebrate and honor Make-A-Wish families. This joyful event will transform the Harborside East rental venue into a winter wonderland, featuring interactive stations highlighting the five types of wishes granted by Make-A-Wish: "I wish to go, I wish to be, I wish to meet, I wish to have, and I wish to give." Additional activities include, live music, a visit from santa, a s’mores station, and more.
This celebration highlights the spirit of the season and the joy of giving back, and the transformative power of granting wishes to children facing critical illnesses in the Lowcountry community. This event is by invitation only, for Make-A-Wish families and select attendees.
Over 70 children in the Lowcountry are currently waiting for their wishes to be granted. Research shows that the wish process gives children hope, strength, and improved health outcomes. This event aims to bring joy to Wish Kids and their families during the holiday season while inspiring the community to help grant wishes.
