Charleston-based Celtic folk band Moonlight Ale is set to embark on the “Ale Trail,” its yearly St. Patrick's Day celebration around the Charleston area. This year, the band's schedule features nearly ten stops throughout the Lowcountry across the first two weekends of March.
"We've never been more excited for an Ale Trail," said mandolin player George Stevens. "We'll be playing just about every part of the Charleston area over two weekends, and we expect to be in front of a lot of Irish music lovers."
The band will feature its full five-piece lineup and be joined by a variety of special guests, including fiddlers James Anderson and Karin McQuade.
