Southern Living is hosting a dog adoption weekend at the Southern Living Idea House in Kiawah River, in partnership with PEDIGREE® and the Charleston Animal Society. The event will be held on Saturday, October 5th (11 am to 4 pm) and Sunday, October 6th (12 pm to 4 pm).
Charleston Animal Society has been protecting animals since 1874, and had 4,484 animal adoptions, 72 cruelty cases investigated, 11,673 spay-neuters, and 23,318 humane education lessons to children in the last year alone. All of their dogs come spay-neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. When you adopt a dog, you save a life.
