The Lowcountry Music Hall of Fame today announced their 2024 class of inductees. This year's group includes: Steve Carroll; Jump, Little Children; Shovels & Rope (pictured); Linard McCloud; Bill Wilson; Lynette White; Bob Sachs; John Holenko; Verno Munroy; the Groovy Cools; and Ed Hunnicutt.
The induction ceremony will take place on Sunday, October 6th, from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Hanahan Amphitheater, bringing together music enthusiasts and community members to celebrate these significant contributions to Charleston's music scene. This event is free and open to the public and guests can expect food trucks, lots of music, and more.
Established in 2015 by Michael Davis, the Lowcountry Music Hall of Fame recognizes individuals, bands, and businesses that have profoundly impacted the Charleston music scene.
