Experience vibrant rhythms and thrilling melodies as North Charleston POPS! presents Latin Fusion on Saturday, January 18, at 7:30 pm at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center. Maestro Nick Palmer leads the orchestra in a program featuring Gershwin’s Cuban Overture, Moncayo’s Huapango, and Lecuona’s Andalucia. Special guest performers include Gino Castillo, Charleston’s award-winning Cuban percussionist and vocalist renowned for his Afro-Cuban flair, and Duda Lucena, a Brazilian jazz artist celebrated for his soulful interpretations and vibrant performances.
Jackie Tso, Guest Concertmaster, will showcase her extraordinary violin talent. A graduate of The Juilliard School, Tso has performed with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and serves as concertmaster for the Greenville Symphony.
