Internationally acclaimed French artist Jean Claude Roy will return to Charleston for his 23rd Annual Art Tour, showcasing his signature palette-knife landscapes at the Grand Bohemian Gallery. Known for vivid suns, swirling skies, and bold color, Roy’s work captures the rhythm and emotion of the natural world, earning recognition from collectors worldwide.
Visitors to the gallery can meet the artist and explore his newest collection during two exclusive events.
A public artist reception will be held on Friday, Nov. 7, from 5–8 p.m. at the Grand Bohemian Gallery, 55 Wentworth St. Attendees can view Roy’s latest works and hear about his creative process in an informal gallery setting. Admission is complimentary.
A private wine dinner will follow on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 6–9 p.m. at the Grand Bohemian Charleston, also on Wentworth Street. Guests will enjoy a multi-course menu inspired by Roy’s French heritage while learning about his inspirations and artistic journey. Tickets are $225 per person, and reservations are required.
Roy has maintained a long-standing partnership with the Grand Bohemian Gallery, and his annual tour continues to draw art enthusiasts eager to experience his latest creations in person.
