Audiobook Walk + Tea & Treats from 10 a.m.–10:30 a.m.
Stroll with us through a short (~30 min) neighborhood audiobook walk. Return to the shop for a spread of tea, biscuits, scones, and crumpets worthy of Queen Titania herself. Learn more
Stuffy Story Time from 11 a.m.–noon
Little Lords and Ladies welcome! Bring your stuffy companions and enjoy a whimsical story time session, featuring delightful tales. Costumes encouraged! Learn more
Sonnet Contest & Reading from 3 p.m.–4 p.m.
Lend us your ears! Dramatic readings of our Sonnet Contest entries commence—followed by the crowning of our Critic’s Choice and Crowd Favorite. All submissions will be published in a limited-edition zine (free while supplies last). Learn more
Charleston Absent Friends (CAF) Presents: A Midsummer Night’s Fundraiser from 4 p.m.–7:00 p.m.
Help CAF raise money for their upcoming rendition of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”! You will enjoy a bake sale, merchandise sale, previews of CAF’s upcoming performances of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and “The Princess Bride,” as well as readings of excerpts from Shakespeare, Poe, Plath, and more.
