UPDATE on May 7, 2025 - AWE Fest, Awendaw’s inaugural celebration of history, culture, and community spirit, has been rescheduled to Saturday, June 28, 2025 due to inclement weather forecast. The event will still occur at Awendaw Municipal Park (7900 Doar Rd, Awendaw, SC 29429) from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Initially set for May 10, the new date aligns AWE Fest with the summer solstice, offering more daylight, warmer weather, and even more reason to celebrate. Organizers made the change to ensure the overall guest experience and accommodate expanded programming for this unique waterfront event.

The inaugural AWE Fest 2025, a day of food, history, culture, and community celebrating the Town of Awendaw. AWE Fest will occur on Saturday, May 10, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Town of Awendaw Municipal Park (7997 Doar Road).
The festival is a tribute to Awendaw and all the coastal community has to offer, including nature, entertainment, and the heritage of the Sewee people. The day will include live music, art and retail vendors, food trucks, beer and wine, family-friendly activities, and more.
General admission tickets are $15 in advance, or $20 at the gate for guests aged 13 and older, and children 12 and under are free. VIP tickets are available for $125 in advance or $150 the day of. They include complimentary food and beverages, private bathrooms, lakefront tented seating, and a VIP entrance for quick access.
