Don’t RuinArt returns for a second remarkable evening on the Piazza, as Maison Ruinart celebrates the artistry of Champagne and creative expression. Guests will have the opportunity to browse local works and engage with Charleston artists Julia Deckman, Taylor Faulkner, Lyn Marler, Sarah Ferreira, and Savannah Strickroth. Attendees will savor Ruinart Champagne, indulge in elegant canapés, and enjoy live music against the backdrop of sweeping Marion Square views in this open-air celebration of culture and craft. 21+ event. The Artist’s Palate, September 10 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Inspired by the powerful works of Amiri Farris and Sonja Evans, Chef Edgar Kano has crafted a bespoke menu with each course reflecting themes, textures, and stories drawn from the artists’ creations. Throughout the evening, guests will hear from Amiri and Sonja as they share insights into their artistic process and the cultural narratives behind their work. Select pieces will be on display and available for purchase, offering a unique opportunity to experience — and take home — a piece of the evening’s inspiration. Introduce little ones to the timeless art of etiquette during A Proper Morning at Camellias, Hotel Bennett’s iconic pink champagne bar. This special event pairs a traditional Afternoon Tea with a delightful etiquette workshop designed for children. Led by a professional etiquette coach, young guests will learn essential manners from graceful greetings and polite conversation to table etiquette and the finer points of tea service. Along the way, they’ll enjoy a menu of petite sandwiches, sweets, and warm tea (or lemonade) in an unforgettable setting. Ideal for aspiring young ladies and gentlemen, this experience fosters confidence, kindness, and poise. Costs are $95 for adults and $65 for children under 12.
