Home Team BBQ, founded in West Ashley in 2006 and long known for pairing barbecue with live music, will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a multiday party anchored by a headlining performance from Paul Cauthen at The Refinery on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026.
Throughout the weekend, guests can expect live music, guest chefs and longtime friends of Home Team. Cauthen last played Home Team as the headliner of its 2020 Rock the Block event, and his return marks a full-circle moment for the celebration.
“Twenty years ago, we opened the doors in West Ashley with a smoker and a few good friends,” said Aaron Siegel, founder and pitmaster of Home Team BBQ. “What has stuck with me most is the people who showed up, year after year, and made this place feel like home. This weekend is for them.”

A FULL WEEKEND OF CELEBRATION
The Saturday show anchors a larger weekend of programming. The celebration opens Thursday, Sept. 24, at Home Team BBQ's Williman Street location with a night of live music and continues Friday, Sept. 25, with a ticketed barbecue buffet and concert. Lineups and ticketing information for the Thursday and Friday events will be announced in the coming weeks.
Beyond the music, the Saturday celebration at The Refinery will invite guests to step back through 20 years of Home Team with limited-edition anniversary and throwback merchandise, along with immersive touches throughout the venue that trace the brand's two-decade story.

Tickets for Saturday, Sept. 26, go on presale Monday, July 13, at noon ET, followed by the public on-sale Friday, July 17, at 10 a.m. ET. Fans must join Home Team BBQ's mailing list to access the presale. Sign up at hometeambbq.com.
