Update on 9/19/24 - This event has been postponed to next year. Here's what Going Places had to say:
"Hello to all of Going Places' supporters!
We have made the decision to postpone our bike ride fundraiser until Oct 11, 2025 to ensure we have the best event possible for all of you! Several factors came into play when making this difficult decision but in the end, we feel this is the best decision due to timing.
Any tickets/vendor/sponsor spots sold will be transferred to next year’s event and in the case that date does not work for you, full refunds will be made.
We would still love your support as we enter the last quarter of the year and would be very grateful for your donation so we can continue to support the low-income kids in our community through the JOY of a bike!"

Local nonprofit Going Places will host their inaugural “Tour de Joy: Bike Ride and Festival,” a family-friendly fundraiser that founder Katie Blomquist says will help attendees "remember the joy of a bike we all experienced as a child and continue to as an adult."
