Lettuce, the six-piece, GRAMMY-nominated funk powerhouse formed at Berklee College of Music, brings its thunderous horn lines, deep grooves, and improvisational fire to The Refinery on Friday, Oct. 17, as part of its 2025 tour.
Fans can expect a high-energy night where tightly locked rhythm sections meet wide-open jam passages, featuring extended solos, call-and-response horn charts, and the dance-floor-friendly funk that has made Lettuce a festival and club favorite for more than three decades.
The legendary funk sextet is teasing the forthcoming release of its latest full-length album, Cook, due Dec. 3, 2025, via the band’s own Lettuce Records. The album features the lead single “Gold Tooth” and a cover of the Keni Burke classic “Rising to the Top,” showcasing the band’s signature all-organic, additive-free funk. The group has now shared another sneak peek with the new track “Breathe,” a blissed-out song with a retro hip-hop vibe.
