On select Friday evenings this summer, Charleston County Parks invites guests to enjoy live music and dancing at two of the area's most scenic waterfront venues. Dancing on the Cooper at the Mount Pleasant Pier and Moonlight Mixers at the Folly Beach Pier continue throughout the summer.
Both events run from 7-10 p.m. Dancing on the Cooper features a different local band each month, showcasing a variety of musical genres throughout the season. Moonlight Mixers feature either a DJ or a live band each evening.
Advance tickets are $10 per person and $15 on-site, if the event is not sold out. Beverages will be available for purchase, and guests are welcome to bring chairs for seating outside the dance area.

Advance tickets for both events can be purchased at CharlestonCountyParks.com. Organizers expect the events to sell out, so advance ticket purchases are encouraged. If available, on-site tickets will be sold for $15 per person (credit cards only).
The Mount Pleasant Pier, located at 71 Harry M. Hallman Jr. Blvd., is part of Memorial Waterfront Park. The 1,250-foot pier extends into Charleston Harbor beneath the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge. Free parking is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors are encouraged to carpool or use rideshare services. Paid parking is also available at the nearby Ferry Wharf garage.
The Folly Beach Pier stretches 1,049 feet into the Atlantic Ocean and features restrooms, Koko's on the Pier Restaurant and Bar, beach access, showers, and the Gangplank Gift & Tackle Shop, which offers gifts, refreshments, tackle, bait and rod rentals. The pier also offers accessible parking, restrooms, water fountains, an accessible entrance to the pier, and an accessible route to the event area.
