Nationally touring comedian Sam Miller will be headlining Wit’s End Comedy Club & Lounge in North Charleston on May 16 and 17, and this isn’t your average comedy night.
Miller is a 6’6”, 360-pound, former addict-turned-comic with a story that’s as powerful as it is hilarious. After spending years in jail and treatment centers, Miller got clean and built a career making people laugh about the hard stuff—addiction, parenting, trauma, and everything in between. He recently signed a three-album deal with Stand Up! Records and released his debut comedy album Round Trip, which hit #1 on the iTunes Comedy Charts.
He’s performed at The Laugh Factory in Chicago, been featured on The Bob & Tom Show, and will appear on NPR’s Live Wire just one week before his Charleston shows.
Miller’s set is brutally honest, wildly funny, and surprisingly uplifting—he brings a dose of realness to comedy that Charleston audiences will definitely remember.
